Group courses – “you are not alone”<\/strong><\/h3>

We regularly offer our diabetic training in group courses for type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus.<\/p>

We train with various training concepts, evaluated and structured group courses for people with diabetes.<\/p>

Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who are only treated with diet or tablets receive a course over 4 weeks, 1.5 hours once a week.<\/p>

Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who are treated with conventional insulin therapy (CT) receive a course over 5 weeks, 1.5 hours once a week.<\/p>

Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who are treated with intensified insulin therapy (ICT) receive a course lasting 6 weeks, 1.5 hours once a week.<\/p>

Patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus receive a course for a maximum of 12 weeks, 1.5 hours once a week.<\/p>

The costs, including a detailed training book, are covered in full by the health insurance companies. You should attend all dates of the course, as the contents build on each other. Should you not be able to participate despite having registered in advance, we ask that you cancel in good time.<\/p>

  • Handling of blood glucose meters<\/li>
  • Insulin injection techniques<\/li>
  • Insulin dose adjustment<\/li>
  • Initial insulin pump setup and training<\/li>
  • Nutrition<\/li>
  • Weight reduction<\/li>
  • Smoking cessation<\/li><\/ul>
